I Hope

I hope...

I can only hope I am doing everything I can to be the best Mama for you! It's true when they say the days are long, but the years are short. You get stuck in the hard and all of a sudden miss something small they used to do and grow up before your eyes.

I can only hope, I am showing you how to be a good person, how to love others like Jesus, how to be strong and independent, how to be uniquely you, how to stand up for what you believe in... and that I myself remember that in order to do that I need to learn patience and grace myself. 

I can only hope that when you look at your Mama you remember the days I was patient, loving, and caring and not the ones where you were testing everything in me. 

I can only hope that I can remember your sweet giggles and laughter, your cuddles, your sweet words and phrases, and everything about you for years and years to come. That I can hold on to those sweet moments in order to get me through the hard ones. That I can remember during the hard ones that you're exercising and learning how to be a great leader one day. 

I pray that you always remember how much I love you (and your Daddy does too) no matter what. You are so smart, kind, beautiful, caring, helpful, creative, and most of all our special little girl.
